The Prof. TG Vaidyanathan Memorial Film Review Contest 2017

The contest is held annually at META–the Josephite Festival of Literature to honour the memory of Prof. TG Vaidyanathan, noted film critic, and author of Hours in the Dark.

TGV, as he was popularly known, reviewed both Indian and Hollywood films for various newspapers including Deccan Herald, and was a major inspiration to the College film society.

The Film Review Contest is open to both college students and the general public.There is a registration fee of Rs. 50, payable on the spot. The jury will award three prizes.

The film chosen for this year’s contest will be screened twice–once on Saturday 11th February and again on Sunday 12 February. A review not exceeding 1500 words must come in by 1159 hrs, Tuesday, 14 February 2017.
