Tie Grab 2018

Tie Grab, our annual Quiz Festival, will be held over the weekends coinciding with Meta 2018. The 2018 edition will feature Magister, our national solo championship, six Open Quizzes for teams, two College Quizzes for teams and a Spelling Bee.

• Unlimited entries in the prelims.
• Written preliminary followed by finals.

• Teams of two members; open to college students only
• Unlimited entries in the prelims.
• Cross-college teams not allowed.
• Written preliminary followed by finals for eight teams

3. All Passion Spent– The MELAS Quiz

• Teams of two members: Open to college students only
• Quiz on Music, Entertainment, literature, Arts and Sports.
• Unlimited entries in the prelims.

• Written preliminary followed by finals for eight teams
• Entry Fee: Rs. 50 per team

8. General Dire—The Open General Quiz

• Open to all: Teams of two members
• Written preliminary followed by finals for eight assembled quartets
• The quartets will be assembled by clubbing the eight best open and college teams together.
• Entry Fee: Rs. 100/- for open teams, Rs. 50 for college teams, free entry for school teams

9. Magister: the National Solo Collegiate & Open Quizzing Championship

• Solo written contest open to college students and the general public
• Junior College students (Std. XI-XII) may also participate
• Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in Open, College and Junior College categories
• Certificates for the top 50 finishers nationwide.
• Entry Fee: Rs. 50/- for all takers
